Psychiatry Northwest Website

Higher speciality trainees currently have their own website where you will find more information specific to your chosen speciality.

Do high speciality trainees need to use METIS?

The answer is YES!. Metis has proved to be very stable over the last twelve months and so there shouldn't be any need to submit paper versions of the portfolio. We also have 'Add On' sections of theportfolio. For example if you are curently in a Liaison Post and wish to have this endorsed, we can add to your portfolio the required comptencies for that speciality. There is a direct link to METIS at the very top of this page.
As we complete a final review of your portfolios there may be a need to lock them two weeksprior to the ARCPs. Don't worry if you forgot to include pieces of evidence, just email the evidence to us and we will pop it into your portfolio. In addition, should you wishto include any evidence in paper format either because you had problems scanning or uploading couldn't get it scanned in or upload it then once again please forward this to us. If you If you would like any help or assistance in the meantime then please do not heistate to call us on 0161 720 2905 or email Sam.
